Ahmed Hadrovic is a Turkish photojournalist who began his career as a street photographer and documentary photographer. He then continued his career as a photojournalist working for agencies such as Corbis, The Stand Global and Sipa Press. He received his first professional engagement from the Royal Academy of Dance (UK), Istanbul Branch in 2007, while the first reporting as photojournalist was from the Palestinian / Israeli battlefield in 2009 for Corbis Images. He then works mainly as a photojournalist on the occasion of the events in Turkey. His photographs taken during the famous Gezi Park protests (Istanbul, Turkey) were presented by Sipa Press Agency at the “Prix Bayeux-Calvados des correspondants de guerre” in Paris , 2014. After thet period of his career he starts teaching documentary and journalistic photography again at Fotografeva (Istanbul) which is the official office of Magnum Photos for Turkey. Over the next few years, he taught photography and occasionally reported and commented on developments in Turkey for some TV channels, most often the VOA. With moving from Istanbul to Western Balkans ,after several years of absence from the photographic scene he returned to active photography and photojournalism, occasionally working for his former agency Sipa Press and on his projects related to documentary photography.
