Stan De Zoysa was born in Sri Lanka and has been living in Barcelona since 2001.
A Logistics Engineer by profession Stan discovered street photography when he stumbled across the work of his father-in-law made in 1987, after a Beatrice concert in Budapest.
His work could be described as colourful and subtle; however witty situations, visual riddles and his playful imagination often come to the fore. Stan relies on intuition and spontaneity whilst walking the streets to the extent that makes the viewer want to explore those streets with him.
He has been awarded at various International Street Photography festivals, exhibited internationally and has been published in various online and printed medium.
